Whale Of A Tale Pocket Skirt | by SewMcCool | Using Fabricworm's Organic Jersey Knits

Today we are thrilled to share a skirt drafting tutorial with you!  From the lovely mind of Deanna from Sew McCool Blog.  She paired our Fabricworm Organic Jersey Knit in Rouge, with the Marine Too Waves and Whales Knit, to create what must be the most adorable and comfy skirt you could create!

This is a two part tutorial.  So make sure to visit us again on Wednesday 4/23 for part two!

The great part about this tutorial is that you get to hone in those drafting skills.  Or if you've never drafted your own pattern before, this is a great place to start.  This skirt is simple, with mostly simple straight lines.  And you'll learn a few tips about sewing with knits!

Perhaps most noteworthy to us the fact that you'll get to learn about drafting pockets!  Such a handy skill to have or us sewers. :)

Our Organic Jersey Knit comes in 17 beautiful colors!  It's perfect or all kinds of apparel sewing.  And you're little ones will thank you for sewing not only cute, but super comfy clothes!

We love the little appliqued whale at the bottom of the skirt.  Such a small detail that really adds a lot of fun!  Make sure to check out Sew McCool on Wednesday 4/23 or part two of this tutorial!
