Hey Fabricworms,
This week we're giving away 10 Fat Quarters of Monaluna for Birch Fabrics Circa 52. Not only are these so so soft, they are Organic as well! Everyone has a chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post answering the question below and you will be entered to win. The giveaway will end at 8:30am PST, Monday, December 12th. We will announce the winner later that same day. The winner will be chosen by random.org.

    I find myself nostalgically collecting reto 1930's prints for kitchen items like aprons, placemats, potholders. I am also getting more interested in collecting vintage hand embroidered linens, and combining them with retro fabrics.

    i'm a big fan of old letterpress posters & vintage postcards. i often sew things to store my paper goods... notebook covers, zipper pouches, etc. thanks for the chance to win - the fabrics are beautiful!

    I love retro crochet- It makes such a cool trim. Plus, who doesn't love a grandmother-esque crocheted afghan? Even if it wasn't your grandma who made it!

    At my age, everything is retro- but I think the 50's were comforting years even if we were all ostriches. I love the rounded appliances, the fins on the cars. I have no diea about colors, though, because I was too young to pay attention much and wore dresses made from mattress fabric because my mom was a semastress and Dad worked for a mattress company. Big ugly flows- yuck.

    I love mid century modern...decorations and furniture. Sun burst clocks and Danish teak credenzas. So this fabric would be perfect.

    Great Fabrics! I love anything orange right now--and I feel as if orange is a retro color--especially in kitchens--I grew up with an orange kitchen and always hated it--and now I find myself strangely attracted to it--I think I will stick to using it sparingly in quilts and skip the paint though....

    Thanks for the wonderful fabric giveaway. I like most fabrics though am partial to fabrics that have geometrics, or floral or plant motifs for any style of fabric. Color is what draws me to fabrics.

    I really love what I remember from my Grandma's house...colorful pyrex dishes, vintage print sheets...

    Also, in a less truly retro way, I appreciate the Pottery Barn Kids retro kitchen. However, it is not in my price range for my kiddos this year!

    Figgio pottery designs, Mary Quant mod laminate and plastic creations in furniture. My grandmother's kitchen, my mother's dress sense. Memories of my own childhood, I used to get about in a peddlecar once.

    I love green depression glass for inspiration. It comes from a quieter, more honest (less in your face) time in the world, when people had to make do. Great shapes, great greens and it generates all sorts of ideas for me.
