Favorite last minute gift to sew up? Lately it's been baby bibs...
I have to say all my gifts are last minute, infact I should be making a last minute quilt right now, but am procrastinating again!! But if it's really down to the wire I'll make a bag... good for anyone really, especially if you pop a favourite magazine and a block of chocolate in.

Oh, you are always so generous with your giveaways, and I love to see your weekly newsletter in my inbox, but I sooooo wish we didn't have to jump through hoops to enter a giveaway. I'm sorry, I don't twitter, or do facebook, or any of that other stuff. I just email, I'm behind the curve I suppose. But consider this my entry anyway. And thanks for always being so generous.
I'm an over-achiever. All my "last minute" gifts still tend to be huge undertakings that involve all-nighters. It's usually a quilt. :P

My favorite last minute give is going to depend obviously on what it's for; Baby stuff would be a matching bib and burp cloth with possibly a receiving blanket ~ all matching with machine embroidery on them as well. Anything else would be dish towels with machine embroidery on them and fabric at the bottom below the embroidery.

I love the beautiful fabric bundles that you all put together. I've purchased a few to make baby blankets for my family and friends. I've actually found myself getting into trouble browsing your site since I want to buy so many different and beautiful fabrics from you. This bundle will make the most beautiful baby boy blankets (at least that's what I'll be using it for). :)

Nope, don't have a favorite last minute sewing gift. Why? Because any time I try to sew something last minute it turns into a disaster, so I don't do that anymore!
Gorgeous fabric giveaway!
Commenting to share my FB ID and I shared the post on there. facebook.com/karin.aiello
Here is my comment with my answer to your question... I don't know! I am just getting started into sewing again, and have only previously made clothes for my daughter and a little for myself. I think coasters and/or hot pads or something of the sort would be a quick and easy gift. Maybe bags if I find the best pattern... we shall see, but winning this fabric would certainly help! :)
Tweeted! @marcsgirl
Also, I already get your newsletter... hope that counts for another chance to win! :)
My favorite thing - which also works well as a "last minute" - is to make new mom's some super fun burp clothes... usually I buy a 12 pack of the supreme Gerber thick prefolds, wash them and store them until someone I know is "expecting"... then I grab some fabrics from my stash... follow instructions here and voila!

Last min gift for a little girl would be a sundress. So many possibilities.
It kind of depends on the person, but I like the Pencil Roll pattern from Pink Chalk Studio and have had good luck using recycle designer fabrics from fabmo.org. Tote bags, even for non-sewing people are usually a hit.
