Linus, The Fabricworm Mascot, is offering up his favorite set of Scraps to a lucky winner!

While deciding one day that our Mascot Linus needed his own pretty set of fabrics to perch upon,

I went straight to my home stash and picked out a bundle of some of my all time favorites!

I've decided now that Linus is ready for a new stack of inspiration, and thought how fun it would

be to share Linus' favorites with 1 lucky reader!

We will be picking a winner through Random Integers on Tuesday 9/7 at 9am PST

To enter simply name a theme in which you'd love to see made into a collection of fabrics!

Boy-related themes. I still love cute robots.

I think a "Woodstock" themed collection would be totally sweet, like modern muted takes on hippie designs with musical instruments and flowers. Bringing up a more subtle sort of psycadellic (sp?) would be rad. When I think about Woodstock I think about the scenes from the documentary, which actually has very muted colors, but really juxtaposed images, such as old farmers and tractors with flower children, kids rocking out to music in the middle of farm fields, its just an interesting image to me.

I would love to see a quilt bundle for older boys. Less novelty, more... how do I describe it?... more "cool"? My son is too old for rockets and things now, but I'd still like to make him a special quilt. Yet, I don't want to go with the same old plaids and stripes. What I'm really waiting for is the Circa 60 beach theme that comes out in November. I guess I'd like to see that line made into a really great quilt bundle for older boys! :)

Frank Lyod Write mission style geometrics paired with a few florals.

Linus, you've inspired me:

DNA - its a beautiful form and perfect for no fuss unisex baby rooms. Nice potential for mixing colors.

CALDER MOBILES - this could be in inspiration for some really whimsical, bright patterns.

NAUTICAL - Rope, Anchors, Sails, Buoy.

OLD SCHOOL MEDIA - record players, old radios, old tv's, etc.

CONEY ISLAND - The Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, etc.

SUSPENSION BRIDGES - think of all the amazing patterns from the steel cords.

ROYCROFT MOVEMENT - take a look at the designs from this relatively unknown early 20th century collective, they are so inspiring.
A theme I would like made into fabric is antique buttons.
